New Website, Dues, Chapter Info, Treasurer, Next Meeting

Welcome to the new IAJE website. Abby and I set this up so that we could post information about meetings, the conference, concerts etc. We're hoping to maybe use it for some publicity as well. Bookmark it and check back in if you want to keep up to date on things.

This year's dues are $30 ($25 for IAJE and $5 chapter fee). You're going to get the IAJE magazine, some discounts for members and a significantly cheaper conference fee. If you want to pay us give Abby or I a check made out to Mike Tomaro or cash in an envelope with your name on it. By the way Abby Gross is the vice president, Chris Burkhart (me) is the president and Mike Tomaro is our advisor. This leads to the next topic which is...

The treasurer. We don't have one. If you want to be the treasurer and help out let us know. If a bunch of people want it that's great and we can have an election. It won't be much work and is good for the resume.

Our first meeting will probably be during an upcoming common hour. Keep checking back for updates on that and we'll post signs in the school the day of the meeting, too.
